3 Step Creamy Butter Crab / 三步奶油蟹

Now you don't have to go to an expensive Chinese restaurant or your local "tai chow" stall to enjoy this divine dish. With Chinese New Year around the corner, most restaurants would be fully booked and the food lacking in quality as they are mass produced. Why not have your cozy little reunion at home and make this the highlight of your meal? Yes, it is possible! And easy too!

You will only need the following (multiply ingredients according to number of crabs):

1. 1 Cleaned Crabs (about 500g).
2. 1 pkt Christine's Original Creamy Butter Sauce (200g)
3. 1 tbsp and 1/2 tsp cornstarch
4. 1 egg white
5. Oil for frying

And it only involves 3 steps:
1. Coating in batter
2. Deep-frying
3. Toss with sauce.

Yes, there is really no recipe here. The picture says it all! Enjoy!

1. Coat crab with a mixture of 1 tbsp cornstarch and egg white.

                             (sorry forgot to take photo)

2. Put crab in preheated hot oil and fry for about 3-5 mins (depending on how big is your crab) until the crab is cooked. Strain oil.

3. Heat up sauce in a clean wok (I added 1/2 tsp of cornstarch to the sauce as I wanted it to be gooey) and toss the fried crab in it. .Serve hot.

Note:
Additional garlic or curry leaves can also be added for intense aroma.
